Ha'ehuola - a program that includes 144 plant-based meals for 3 months per high-risk participant to increase nutrient intake and transition from high fat, sugar, salt diets; reconnects participants to Hawaiian cultural values and Hawaiian healing modalities; and provides plant-based cooking, nutrition, meditation, ho’oponopono classes and more. Sustain Hawaii - Established in April 2003, Sustain Hawaii is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to helping improve the HEALTH and WELL-BEING of our community through education and innovative practices, while simultaneously addressing ecological, socio-cultural, and economic impacts. Our programs and services are rendered out of our office/meeting space and 20-acre food garden (ʻAi Love Gardens) in Waimanalo, which conveniently supports some of our projects aimed specifically to serve the Koʻolaupoko District, Waimanalo community, and its Native Hawaiian residents.
